I Found the Oneness of the Body of Christ
I am a wife and a mother to five beautiful children that the Lord has entrusted to my husband and me. I love the Lord and had been searching since I was in my early teens for the unity in the Body of Christ that is in the Bible. I had asked the Lord, "Where is this place that You have put Your name like You did in the Old Testament? Where is the place where all Your children are brothers? What happened to the church in Corinth? Thessalonica? Ephesus? There was one city, one church."
I thank the Lord that in His mercy a few years after I got married some of my family gave me some of Brother Lee's books. One of them was entitled, The Genuine Ground of Oneness, I found great help in understanding why we were not one today. I came to understand that the many divisions arise from us holding on to things other than Christ. He alone is the Head. We are His Body. We have allowed many things to divide us. If we would hold on to anything other than Christ we will be divided. Nothing can hold us together except Christ.
I found life in what I read of brother Lee's ministry; I grew to love the Lord more. I would pray more. I called on Him more. I had begun to put the Lord first. For the first time I had found the reality that I had been seeking in the church.
