God is Real!
I was the fifth of six children, born in 1961, at Howick, Auckland, New Zealand. When I was 19 years old, I hoped to travel the world. I left for Australia alone. After travelling around for two months I ran low on money and was really homesick. I came back to Auckland and couldn't get work.
A few months later a phone call came from an old boss of mine asking me if I would like to come and work for him in Tauranga. I said yes, not knowing where Tauranga was! A few days later I changed my mind but my mother insisted that I go. Pretty soon I found myself in Tauranga not knowing anyone except my boss and his family, whose house I stayed in for two weeks while looking for accommodation of my own.
One Sunday my boss and his wife told me that they were going out for the morning. I asked them, "Where are you going?" They said that they were going to church. I was amazed. Church! When I had known them in Auckland, they had not been church going people, but ordinary "Rugby, Racing and Beer Kiwis." I felt I had to ask them what church they were going to and why they were going. They sat down with me at the dining room table and explained God's plan for us to be raptured. I listened to them, not understanding much, but as they were my friends, I felt I couldn't be negative towards what they were saying, or towards them. Strangely, something clicked in my mind and I suddenly understood that God was real.
